Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have struck Russia's oil processing plant in the city of Ufa, situated around 1,400 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, resulting in explosions and a fire, per a source in Ukraine's intelligence agency.

Efforts carried on on Saturday to recover electricity in the Ukrainian capital, after Russian attacks.
Energy had been restored to more than 800,000 residents by the weekend and the largest power firm announced the key operations to recover electricity was complete though certain disruptions remained.
Air Defence Efforts and UAV Jamming
Ukraine's defense forces neutralized 54 out of seventy-eight UAVs from Russia deployed towards the country during the night, the aerial defense command reported on the weekend.
The Russian military authorities stated it intercepted forty-two Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.
Cuban Government Refutes Claims of Providing Troops to Ukraine
The Cuban government on Saturday refuted US claims it has sent troops to participate in the Ukraine war, while declaring the government "lack precise data about Cuban nationals" participating "voluntarily" or "in the military forces of the conflicting parties".
The government department in the capital said 26 nationals had been given prison terms to jail sentences varying between five to 14 years for mercenary involvement since the autumn of 2023 when news spread of Cuban nationals being sent to the front in Ukraine.
Surrender Initiative Program Reports Details on Cuban National Recruitment
The program, a Ukrainian government program that promotes opposing fighters to give up, stated in May: "Our information indicates the personal data of 1,028 Cubans who enlisted with the Russian military in recently."
The Cuban foreign ministry stated of Cubans who might be engaged: "There is no doubt that not a single one has the support, allegiance, or approval of the Cuban authorities for their activities."
Relatives of individuals who left for Russia in 2023 reported to international media at the time that their loved ones had been misled into enlisting through ads on social media.
