Democratic officials demonstrated anger after former President Donald Trump charged a contingent of Democratic legislators of being "betrayers" and asserted they should be taken into custody and punished "through capital punishment" following their publication of a disputed video.

The Content That Sparked the Dispute

The clip, released on Tuesday, features six Democratic elected officials who in the past acted in military or security capacities.
